Up to 650 Jewish professionals glowed in the dark with ultra-violet faces during Young UJIA’s annual Purim party at The Anthologist on Gresham Street, near Bank station.
The GLOW party, which went in to the early hours, and of which Jewish News was media partner, saw hundreds of 21-35-year olds come together to hear top DJ Josh White, see spectacular light shows,
Hamantaschen (the triangular-shaped filled pastries associated with the holiday) and show off their glow sticks. The night also raised a fabulous £14,800 for Carmiel Children’s Village in the Galil, which cares for 4-18 year-olds who are unable to live with their families. “What an amazing night that was,” said organiser Frankie Stanton.
“It was an incredible event with so many young Jewish professionals, not only celebrating but supporting a really worthy cause. Bring on Purim 2017!”
